I’ve got to tell you about something funny that happened…

I’ve got to tell you about something funny that happened this weekend. We were singing at a concert on Saturday night and when we pulled up to the church we saw a really nice sign out front that had some writing on it. The sign read “Standing Still will be Sining at 7:00pm.” They had run out of the magnetic “g” letters and couldn’t completely spell the word singing, haha. We all thought this was great and we had to take a picture of it. We had a wonderful service that night and when we were leaving, I took a look at the sign again and had this thought, “If God (G) gets left out of singing then all you have is sinning because it is worthless with out him being the center.” This is true with anything we do. I think we are all guilty of trying to exclude God from parts of our lives. If God isn’t in what we are doing, then we are wasting time. I encourage everyone this week to think about whether God is in everything you do. Is He ruling your life at work or school? Is He having a part of your favorite hobby? Is He the Center of your family? Is He welcomed into the room when you’re hanging out with your friends? Everything we do either Glorifies God or it doesn’t. I pray that He will guide us to Glorify Him more!!!
