Mark your calendars everyone – the group is excited to announce that our CD release party will be held May 22nd , 6pm at North Asheville Baptist Church. Bring your friends and church groups to this free event. We will have cake and other refreshments, plus you will get the chance to purchase our new CD at a discount price.
Well, Matt and I had a great weekend with our son Hayden. We went to the NC Zoo in Asheboro. It was absolutely amazing to see the different animals and reflect on God’s creation. Hayden really liked the Zebras and Bald Eagles. We also took Hayden to his first Nascar Race at the Hickory Motor Speedway. Matt is hoping for a Saturday Night racing buddyJ.
Just yesterday I ran into an old friend. We started talking and she shared with me that in September of 2008, she lost her son due to a still birth in her eighth month of pregnancy. Since then her and her husband have experienced five miscarriages. I can’t imagine her loss. There are so many people experiencing pain, let’s be the Church that God has called us to be and pray for and encourage each other. When everything else in life is unpredictable you can be confident in God’s security (Psalms 46:1).
